Following a consultation with the artist, to establish their requirements, the first stage in the process is to scan the original work. This is undertaken using high resolution flatbed scanners. The resulting image is processed and prepared for printing. At this stage proof prints are created and when the artist is happy with the result then the next stage is to create the prints

How much does it cost

There are two elements to the cost of reproducing a fine art original:
 

1. Scanning, processing and preparation - This is a 'one off' fee which covers the time taken and the materials used in the preparation of the image file.

2. Printing - The price of each print depends on the size of the print and the type of paper or canvas used.
